June 5, 2010
PROVIDENCE, RI
Arrive at Theodore Francis Green State Airport
(PVD), Providence, Rhode Island. Take shuttle to hotel and check in. Our welcome dinner will be at the hotel.
June 6, 2010
NEWPORT, RI
Today will provide a unique experience as we board the motor yacht Rum Runner II, built during prohibition by smugglers to avoid the Coast Guard. Using this fast vessel we will travel the length and width of Narragansett Bay to view the following lighthouses: Beavertail,
Dutch Island, Conanicut Island, Plum Beach, Poplar Point, Warwick, Nyatt Point, Conimicut, Newport Harbor (Goat Island), Ponham Rocks, Bristol Ferry, Hog Island Shoal, Prudence Island, Lime Rock and Castle Hill. Lunch will be on board and we will also stop off for a tour of the Rose Island Lighthouse. After disembarking the boat, we will travel to our hotel near Newport where we will stay for two nights and have dinner at a local restaurant.

NEWPORT, RI
The day begins with a short trip to tour the Beavertail Lighthouse. Lunch and the after-noon are on your own. We will arrange a number of alternative tours for you to select from including a tour of several of the historic mansions of Newport. We will gather again for dinner that evening at a restaurant near our hotel.
June 8, 2010
NEW LONDON, CT
Leaving Newport in the morning we travel to the Point Judith lighthouse for a tour. We will then board a high speed ferry to Block Island for a tour of the Block Island Southeast
and the Block Island North lighthouses. Lunch will be on the island. Returning to the mainland in the afternoon we will move on to New London where we will spend the first of three nights and have dinner at a local restaurant.

NEW LONDON, CT
Today begins with a boat cruise out of New London to view the following Connecticut lights: Saybrook Breakwater, Lynde Point, New London Harbor, New London Ledge, and Morgan Point. We will also be able to view two New York lighthouses: Latimer’s Reef and North Dumpling. Back on land, we will have lunch and then tour Avery Point lighthouse and take a short boat ride to tour New London Ledge. We will again overnight in New London and have dinner at a local restaurant.

NEW LONDON, CT
After an early breakfast we will travel to Stamford and board the 95’ American Princess,
which will take us up close to the following
lighthouses: Stamford Harbor, Great Captain Island, Sheffield Island, Peck Ledge, Greens Ledge, Penfield Reef, Fayerweather Island, Tongue Point, Stratford Point & Stratford Shoals. Lunch will be on board the vessel. In the afternoon on the way back to New London, we will stop for a tour of 5 Mile Point and a view of the Southwest Ledge light. We will spend our third night in New London with dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.

PROVIDENCE, RI
Our last full day begins with a visit to Mystic Seaport with its re-created 19th century vil-lage, tall ships and other historic vessel along with a replica of the Brant Point lighthouse. We will have lunch nearby and then visit the Stonington lighthouse in Connecticut and Watch Hill lighthouse in Rhode Island. We will return to Providence for our last night and farewell dinner at the hotel.
