Grand Rapids
Arrive Grand Rapids. Welcome dinner at hotel.
September 9, 2007
Grand Rapids - Holland
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for a tour of Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. After lunch, travel to Holland to tour the "Big Red" Holland Lighthouse. Dinner at hotel, overnight in Holland.

Holland - Ludington
Breakfast at hotel. Depart on coach to Grand Haven and tour the Grand Haven Pier Head Lighthouse. Then, depart for Muskegon to tour the USS Silversides WWII submarine and the Muskegon Pier Head Lighthouse. After lunch, depart for Whitehall and visit the White River Lighthouse and then head north to tour the Little Point Sable Lighthouse. From there, we will travel to Ludington for a sunset at Ludington Pier Head. Dinner at a local restaurant, and overnight in Ludington.

Ludington - Glen Arbor
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Big Sable Point for a tour of the lighthouse. After lunch, proceed to Frankfort/Elberta to see the Frankfort Pier Lighthouse. Then off to Point Betsie Lighthouse for a photo op, and then a picturesque ride through Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Dinner at hotel, overnight in Glen Arbor.

Glen Arbor - Charlevoix
After breakfast at the hotel, board vessel for voyage from Glen Arbor to South Manitou Island for a tour of the South Manitou Lighthouse. Then, on the way back, cruise by North Manitou Shoal Lighthouse for photo op. Upon returning to Glen Arbor, board coach and proceed to Grand Traverse Lighthouse (lunch and shopping in Sutton's Bay). Then proceed to the Old Mission Point Lighthouse for a tour. Dinner at leisure and evening free in Charlevoix (self guided tour of the Charlevoix Pier Light). Overnight in Charlevoix (2 nights).

Charlevoix
Breakfast at hotel. Travel to local museum to view Fresnel Lens from Gray's Reef. Then depart for dock and board vessel for cruise to Beaver Island for lunch and tours of Beaver Head and Beaver Island Harbor lighthouses. After the tours, we will head back to the vessel for our return to Charlevoix. Dinner at hotel, second night in Charlevoix.

Charlevoix - Mackinaw City
After an early breakfast, travel to Mackinaw City. Upon arrival, board ferry to Mackinac Island. En route, we will cruise by the following lighthouses for photo ops: Gray's Reef, White Shoal, Waugoshance, Saint Helena, Round Island and Round Island Passage. Spend afternoon on Mackinac Island at leisure. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Mackinaw City.

Mackinaw City - Grand Rapids
Breakfast at hotel. Depart and proceed to Mackinac Point Lighthouse for tour. Then on to Grand Rapids for airport drop-off or one additional night at airport hotel.
